When considering the dry function of the Charles it should be remembered that its filtration system is well within the requirements of hospital standards in accordance with BS5415 section 2.2. This equates at 60% 0.5 micron. Note the use of the dust bag on this particular product which in effect gives a 3-stage filtration. This product has the useful additional feature of wet pick-up ideal for dealing with spillages such as washing machine floods etc. It should be mentioned that the dry filters must be removed prior to wet applications.
